Coastal GasLink
Morice River Tunnelling Project
Project Overview
Coastal GasLink Pipeline Ltd. (CGL) will construct and operate a natural gas pipeline from the area near the community of Groundbirch (about 40 km west of Dawson Creek, British Columbia [BC]) to the LNG Canada Development Inc. (LNG Canada) liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility (LNG Canada export facility) near Kitimat, BC.
The Project will have an initial capacity of about 2 to 3 billion cubic feet/day (bcf/d) (56 million cubic meters per day [mmcm/d] to 85 mmcm/d), with the potential for expansion up to about 5 bcf/d (142 mmcm/d).
CCI was requested to provide desktop detail design, equipment inspection, construction planning and onsite field engineering support.
