This is a full-time role based out of our Calgary Office.

Summary of Position:

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Marketing & Branding Coordinator is responsible for supporting marketing and sales activities.  The individual in this role will develop and design material relating to company branding standards by incorporating current trends to enhance market opportunities.  This position will also collaborate with Senior Leadership and other teams to create or review marketing materials, presentations, client proposal documents and company events.


  • Manage technical aspects of the Salesforce database ensuring data quality and keeping accurate notes of all client interactions
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness and business impact
  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization
  • Responsible for the internal and external websites (collaborating with external website developer as required) to create quality content that meets the needs of stakeholders and our audience
  • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and additional channels that may be deemed relevant
  • Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target clients
  • Maintain brand standards and guidelines to ensure content across all channels are consistent with CCI’s brand position
  • Develop a high-level marketing plan including growth strategies
  • Public engagement at outreach functions and events (e.g. golf tournaments, etc.)
  • Graphic design advice and review of material
  • Assist with drafting and creating documents including reports, graphs, and spreadsheets
  • Support all Business Development initiatives
  • Manage the Business Development documentation, meetings logistics, agendas and minutes
  • Assist Corporate administration team members as required
  • Assist in the planning and management of Corporate events
  • Proof reading/editing of written materials, formatting and word processing
  • Creating project specific/general template documents
  • Assisting with document preparation in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Assist COO in managing travel, calendar, files and emails
  • Other duties/projects, as required


  • Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • 1- 3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role
  • Knowledge of market development and planning, marketing communications, market research, advertising and promotions, information design, digital strategies, production and project management
  • Highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale and rely on data to make decisions
  • Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts
  • Exceptional communication, critical thinking, problem-solving and collaboration skills
  • Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical skills and keen attention to the detail
  • High energy, self-motivator, sense of urgency, decisiveness, strong work ethic and an ability to work well under pressure
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of brand, ensuring brand integrity and alignment throughout all programs and initiatives
  • High proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point is required
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
